Alone
by FM - 1 Writer to rule them all  (forcemaster@Writing.Com)
This, what you are reading, is my inescapable conclusion
I am alone.
Even in a crowded room or standing on a crowded train
I am always in the corner, hidden in the shadows
burried in my own thoughts, surrounded by my pain

People smile passing me by, talking about their lives
I smile back at them, never sincere yet, six feet under in my own troubles and strife.

The people fade around me as I try and think
of a life that's free and not with me
six feet and closing from the brink

The edge I near, of which I'm not afraid
so I stare down upon the world which swims
as to a final rest my mind is laid.

This, that you have read, is my inescapable conclusion
I
Am
Alone.
