                    If Only

                   If only I could be a jellyfish
                   Who swims unbounded in the sea,
                   I’d float among the starfish
                   Relaxing in my coral garden.

                   If only I could be a rock
                   Which sits atop a mountain peak,
                   I’d meditate on the changing seasons,
                   God, and the purpose for existence.

                   If only I could be a mountain peak
                   That surveys the world below,
                   I’d study man as he crawls about,
                   And find a solution to war.

                   If only I could be the stars
                   That shine with the intensity of fire,
                   I’d fill the universe with hope
                   And bring light to every world.
