Relationship bank balance

I’ve just being reassessing, my love
We seem hugely overdrawn
We live on borrowed time
Steal the moments we spend together

We ought to think in longer terms
Invest some more
Otherwise I will end up broke
If this carries on forever

You spend more time with her, you see
And it kills me more each day
With no interest being earned,
I am at the end of my tether

Closing this love account
Is easier said than done
I love you more each passing day
So let me ask you whether;

True love knows its ins and outs
As well as ups and downs?
Does it follow an upward trend
Or does it just head nether?
