Glimpse of Sanity
Ramblings on the subject of sanity...

I don't know the truth in it all;
I'm alone to hear the endless call,
But sometimes it's too quiet in here...
I want to lie between the desert and the rain,
Believe the beauty is all just the same.
I'm the messenger to bring a fall,
The conqueror to lose it all.
A foe and friend born intertwined,
A thought to lose, a thought to find.

In the morning there's a whisper low,
The dawning light makes the world so slow,
But sometimes it's too tranquil in here...
I want to walk between the devil and the flame,
Believe the glory is all just the shame.
I'm the messenger to speak the known,
The innocent to hide what is shown.
A soul and shadow born intertwined,
A name to lose, a name to find.

There's no spirit to make a move,
My visions hard when life's so smooth,
But sometimes it's too painful in here...
I want to look between the confusion and the bane,
Bathe in sunsets and blinding rain,
Purify in fire and in flame.
Become a savior to be saved,
A dead memory to be raised;
Let life move me in its game.
