GRANDMAS' COOKIES One of my favorite memories {Well, I have quite a few!) Is of grandma making cookies And letting me help, too! I'd measure out the sugar And add it to the mix; Grandma said it was my job, Then the frosting I could fix. Once the cookies were baked, Grandma let me have my share; She'd tease me about the frosting That I had in my hair! Sugar cookies with colored frosting Still bring back the memory When Grandma used to bake them With a little help from me!
