The Girl in the Field She walks the field barefoot and carefree high grass brushing against her tanned legs and as she throws back her head to soak up the sun, she smiles. He walks a tightrope of despair - it’s a livewire. Too many problems too many worries and nobody to lean on. He does not see the butterflies, does not hear the buzzing bees. And yet their paths met - two unlike people from the same part of town. One with hopes and dreams and a pocket full of fantasies. The other with only reality, hardship and disappointment for companion. And as he bends over to brush the hair from her restful face he thinks, what a pity.
