Longevity
A poem describing what to do with our lives and when.

How do we know
The length of our days?
Is it the number
of children we raise?

Is it the length
Of our parent's lives?
Or how many years
We've spent with our wives?

None of these are
The answer, I feel.
In love's embrace
My fate is sealed.

Others find solace
In awards they win.
Some spend their lives
In a war against sin.

Everyone has
Their own life goals,
Some high achievement
Straight from their souls.

Some may be wrong
And some may be right.
The key to it all
Is to keep up the fight.

Even if...
You don't know how...

You better begin
And do it right now.
