My Angel

In memory of My Angel, Pamela Marie. She was a twin, born premature. She weighed 2 pounds and lived 8 days. .
I am missing you tonight my sweet one!

I had my precious baby girl
With me for just a short time
Then God took her to be an angel
With Him, way up on high.

But my darling little baby
Never really left my side
She gathered other angels
To help her be my guide.

Every day she speaks to me
In her most unusual way
Whispering through the pines
"That everything will be okay."

When I don’t stop to listen
To the messages she conveys
She howls through the cedars
“Please listen to what I say."

Nights when I cry in my pillows
For sadness I feel of her gone
She weeps through the willows
“You’ll be with me, before long."

Times when I long to see her face
I feel her angels wings spread wide
She urges me gently to take a look
At God’s majestic beauty outside.

She’s as beautiful as the blue sky
As delicate as a blushing rose
As sweet as the fragrance
From grass that’s freshly mowed.

She’s as bright as the sunshine
As pure as the white driven snow
Precious as the rarest jewel
Mightier than the winds that blow.

She never lived long enough to sin
Before she joined God at His throne
Now she’s an angel guiding me
To join her in God's heavenly home.

You are resting in peace my baby girl.
