The Storm
Rated: E | Poetry | Romance/Love | #687154
The Storm......my lovelife and maybe yours!
So here I am in the peace of it all.
Venturing forth and lacking fear.
Swirling round in the center I see,
Nothing that is new to me.

For I have always lived in the storm.

Those who have had it so easy,
Panic when the galewinds blow.
Reeling themselves in seeking shelter,
From the things I already know.

Comfort comes in the path of the storm.

You see;

I won her, I lost her
I won her back again.
Sifting through all the destruction,
We discovered we were friends.

Winds have calmed themselves.
The leaves rustle no more.
Still I know I can't hold her,
When she runs out the door.

Swirling round in the center I see,
Nothing that is new to me.
For I have always,
Lived in the storm.
