The Library
An Acrostic poem for the wonders of the library.

There is a place that’ll take you away.
Home is where you turn the next page.
Escape into the written words.

Live vicariously through the author’s hands, eyes and ears.
Inside the library is where you’ll find all the wonders of the world.
Bring into your life a little adventure, be a “Friend of the Library”
Read a book to a child.
Almanacs, Atlases, and Encyclopedias bring those foreign places closer.
Remember your librarian is a person too.
Yesterday’s events are recorded at the library.
