Your Storm
Ever feel guilty to feel happy when another around you is sad?

         Your Storm

As the music swirls around me
The happiness bubbles inside.
There is no rhyme or reason
For me to have this ride.

And I look across to see you,
The sorrow is clouding your eyes.
How can I feel this pleasure
When in you sadness lies?

So I lift my eyes to find out
Why guilt is the burden I bear.
The storm clouds build around me
No beaming sun is there.

And the lightning rolls its thunder;
The tears pouring down to the earth.
But still the sun behind them
Is there to shed its mirth.

When a rift splits clouds apart now
The sun bursting through in a blaze.
I see that life goes on here
A light shines through the haze.

You may feel your sadness heavy
But I am your sun shining bright.
The tears you cry are noticed
I part your clouds with light.
