Honey
Honey, I'm waiting for you When will you be home I don’t like to be here Sleeping in our bed alone Honey, I need you And so does the crew We miss the sweet smell Of the coffee you brew Honey, I long for you To come home to me Our cupboards are empty I’m not a shopper you see Honey, I want you here Near by my side I need you to tell me The news world wide Honey, I love you In my own simple ways I don’t know if I can Wait another 10 days Written for my husband, when he went to visit our eldest daughter. This was the longest time we have been apart.
