Take me to Heaven and show me around
As I fly to the sky from this earth. Take me to Heaven and keep me in wing, And feed me and quench my great thirst. Take me to Heaven and shine light in the night Load it with talk of tomorrow. Take me to Heaven and turn me around And make plans for the time we will borrow. Take me to Heaven and show me the height That it took for us to climb up here, Take me to Heaven and whisper of hell “We are surely here sealed or seared Dear.” Take me to heaven to sew secure, a soft and silver lining, Slide me along the edge of this cloud, and tell me it’s is all about timing.
