Matthew
The birth of my son.

Not long ago,
A child was born,
On an October day,
Late in the morn.

He fought to be brought,
In this world to live,
And gave more love,
Than I thought I could give.

He gave me a fright,
When he was growing inside,
But, I prayed to God,
And my tears were dried.

For this little guy,
Took my heart as his own,
He reached out and blessed me,
And the joy did flow.

He may be the youngest,
Of three little kids,
But, he has made his place,
As they both did.

He's happy and cheerful,
And full of smiles,
To keep him from harm,
I'd walk endless miles.

Thank you to God,
For keeping him here,
And giving me an angel,
To always hold dear.
