GREEN MOUNTAIN COUNTRY GIRL I'm a Green Mountain country girl, Of that I'm really mighty proud; No city slicker can take me away From this good old country crowd! *** I like my coffee in the morning, And like it just as well at night; I may not have money in the bank But I'm doing quite all right! *** 'Cause I've got country in my heart, And a country song deep in my soul; If you want to make me happy, then Just turn off that rock'n'roll! *** I was born in the Green Mountains And it's here I'll always stay; I've traveled 'round the country, There's no better place to play! *** Someday I'm gonna find my true love, (What a day that's gonna be!) We'll get married in the mountains And he'll be, oh so true to me... *** I'm just a Green Mountain country girl Whose life is full of love and joy; Waitin' for someone to come along, A good old Green Mountain country boy! *** Countrymom 6/12/03
