GARDENERS DELIGHT Each year I look forward to springtime, as each bulb emerges out of the ground; Bringing shoots of new greenery; and I pause, as I look around. The green of the leaves are a promise that buds will soon appear on the stem; The crocus, daffodils, and the iris Will all start to bloom once again. The warmth of the sun in my garden dry the tiny droplets of rain; I delight in the wonder and beauty that surrounds my garden again. This year I've added more iris to compliment the yellows and blues, The petals now blooming in splendor; a gardener delights in the views. Countrymom 6/14/03
