The Climb to Nothingness by: Elycia Lee When I reached a peak, to see a star, The star was far away. When I walked into a door ajar, I found I'd lost my way. A climb I did to nothingness, For a destiny I could not find. The sight I saw was horrendous; I so wished that I was blind. I saw not the beauty queen, but the route ahead, so steep. 'twas not to me a winning scene, but a journey that sends me creeps. Lost I was and dreams adrift Where there I stood and had not known. A child I was, so totally miffed, Needing my future shown.
