Without God Life Makes No Sense
the Meaning of Life (article not yet complete)

At the most basic level, according to current beliefs, we have two choices. Either humanity happened by accident, the cosmic Big Bang; or we were created by God, Creation. If, indeed, we did come into existance through a cosmic happenstance, then there is no meaning to life, is there? The earth was an accident, a cosmic 'hey, lookit here what happened!'. WE, humanity, just happened- through the process of evolution- and by the rules of evolution humanity will eventually go the way of the Dodo and Passenger Pigeon and be replaced by something else. Where is the meaning in this? Now we are here. Eventually we won't be. There IS no meaning in this. It just happens. We just happened. The earth just happened. The universe...just...happened.

The only way there can be any true meaning in life, to our existance here on earth, is if we are here for a good reason, with a good reason to be here. For there to be meaning there has to be purpose and that purpose has to be given, by someone or something.
