Nestled in shiny green leaves,
ghost white magnolia blossoms
sway under velvet darkness --
like me in your arms.

Dodoitsu songs have love/romance, or a healthy sense of humour in it. They call it the Japanese limerick… But, that doesn’t mean that you can’t use other topics to write a good dodoitsu.

Line 3: 7 syllables
Line 4: 5 syllables
