We speak of life, our friendship new
I'm only now discovering you You turn to go, I want to cry Did I see something in your eyes? Something that I recognize. I know that pain, I've felt it too I share your hurt, and mourn with you Through all the crap, and all the lies There's something deep inside your eyes Something that I recognize. We speak of pleaure, joy, and love I sense from you, a subtle tug It's unmistakable to see It's in your eyes, you're just like me I know you've been there, I can see. The tears of joy, you try to hide Tell me we're the same inside I know that joy, I've felt it too I'm sure you see it in my eyes It isn't hard to recognize.
