Tears from Heaven
I called and was answered, though not in a way I expected

I was sick, and in pain
in an hour of the most need for You
Times before I have called,
but You didn't answer
But I kept my faith in You
I knew You were still there, looking over me
I recited my creed, closing my eyes
and asking to be healed
And suddenly, I began to cry
tears filling my eyes involuntarily
washing away my ailment
and I knew that I was going to be well
in the arms of my Father
