My New World I drift off to my new world avoiding what I've sewn. Escaping the heartaches in this world I have known. I have inflicted a lot of wounds with my selfish wants. My old deeds now cause much guilt in my thoughts. So I will stay in my new world wanting never to leave. Peacefully serene this fantasy world of make believe. All my wants are fulfilled by whatever I may command. I wander and live in paradise,a content peaceful man. My most sweetest pleasures come with little ease. Here in this state of splendor my wants are pleased. Here the sun always shines without the cold wet rain. Soon the reality of my old world I'll have to face again. As I awake all is gone of the paradise I've just seen. For a precious time I've escaped in a sweet dream. I can't believe the beauty of paradise where I've been. I will wait in my heart to escape to paradise again. By: Kings
