LIFE WITHOUT YOU

I live without you as if you
Were truly the essence of life;
Life without you is incomplete
Full of pain, agony and strife.

In night, your dreams don’t let me sleep,
In day, your dreams don’t let me work;
I dream of you day and night, these
Dreams are more than anything worth.

Alone or when in company,
I feel that you are just around,
I feel that you are watching me,
As if even now you’re around.

A thought of you, a word, a glance,
A tune, a gesture of the eye,
Arouses in my heart a stream
Of memories of days gone by.
