They lift you when you're flat,
They say "I'VE REALLY MISSED YOU",
They say, "WELCOME BACK".

They say a warm "HELLO",
They say a sad "GOODBYE",
They say "I TRUELY LOVE YOU",
They lift you way up high.

I wish that I could be there,
A touching hug would be ideal,
But a cyber hug will have to do,
Close your eyes and it's for real.

I've met so many friends
On the net, over the years,
They come from far and wide
They share their hopes and fears.

Some will drift away
As a cloud across the sky,
Some will stay a while
Our lives to beautify.

Then there are the ones,
Who, in our hearts we know,
Are soul-mates from the start
The love within us grows.
