CHILDHOOD MEMORY I remember way back when and this memory comes to mind; I was scared to go to sleep for I was sure I'd find A hairy scary monster hiding underneath my bed, or maybe crouched behind the door just waiting to be fed. I imagined it had hairy fingers that would reach out in the dark, and find me even though I hid till I heard the morning lark. Monsters can be scary even now that I'm old and gray, Sometimes I check under the bed it's safer, you know, that way! Of course I find no monster for there just is no room; There are so many dust bunnies In the dim light of the moon. Countrymom 7/16/03
