DREAM
I was at peace with myself, Without woe or worry. Life sailed pleasantly, my heart Truly had no hurry. But that was till I met you, And saw your lovely face, Your beautiful smile did make, My heart gallop and race. I have not rested since then, Nor had a sane moment. I don’t know what sleep is like, Your thought does me torment. My heart skips a beat if I Meet you by any chance; But it’s instantly frozen, If you deny a glance. I know that I love you so, But do you love me too? Will you one day be mine and Make my sweet dream come true? * Written in abcb 7-6-7-6 format. M C Gupta 24 July 2003
