This is an oldie. I wrote it a long time ago. I just liked the reason for this contest and it's a lttle too close to closing to do something new. I don't write a lot of poetry any more, but it's how I first began writing.
As I sit, my thoughts fly free, Never on what they should be. And so, with my pen in hand, I try to express what I can. Expressing my feelings in simple rhyme, I'm quickly depleted of extra time. But if I don't soon stop, I think, I, probably, will run out of ink
