Let me be more than what others are follow a rabbit and travel far fall in love at age eighty-six make a cake without the mix just let me sing loud, proud, and off key Own three hamsters and a duck play cards with the best of luck dance naked in the rain hear the words but feel no pain just let me float on a cloud across the sea Paint my toes retro pink eat my meals above the sink have no wings but still fly see a snowflake in July just let me prove one plus one equals three Laugh aloud to the sun always skip and never run feel your breath upon my lips drink my lemonade only in sips just let me be blind, yet clearly see Still watch Disney when I'm old know answers before they're told wear white after Labor Day own a banjo and know how to play just let me be chained and still be free Always spell 'wierd' wrong stage a silverware boycott three days long wear floral, polka dots, and plaid forever create my own fad just let me be different from those around me. 8-3-03
