You think the bond between us
is something that cannot be broken, but as you already know, it has been severed before. Yet, we have tried to rebuild it, the missing links making it fall apart, leaving gaps that cannot be filled no matter how hard we try, and yes, while the slipping chains hurt as they are disassembled, in unending pattern, it doesn't compare to the pain when one pulls and the other doesn't move. We fall flat on our face and shatter our hearts.
