INSANE IN LOVE
I did not know what is love, Till the time I met you. Lovely though meeting you was, Now that meeting I rue. From that day my sleep is gone, My heart is beating fast. It’s you I see everywhere, On me a spell you’ve cast. What’s a day dream, what’s dreaming, So far this I knew not. Now that’s what I do all day In your thoughts I am caught. For where is my life destined? I don’t know where I go. Turning back from love path is Now impossible so. What is love, what is to love I was not yet aware But now that I am smitten I think it is but fair To ask you simply but this: For me have you a thought? Or, is it that I alone Am so insane, distraught? * Written in abcb 7-6-7-6 format M C Gupta 23 August 2003
