Come to Atlantis with me He asked with husky breath Swim with me beneath colbalt waves Explore the deepest depths We shall swim with the dolphins Listen to their mystical songs Cavort with killer whales As we swim swiftly along Walking hand in hand We step into the briny sea Foamy waves lapping at our ankles Our souls were being set free A quickly drawn breath Lungs gathering life-giving air Plunging beneath crashing waves Leaving behind worries and cares A world of fantasy Is there for us to behold In silent eerieness Of blues, greens and gold On and on we travel Through the tangled jungle of seaweed Never needing to take another breath Ranging further from land bound need To a region unknown to fettered man A forgetfulness of the pains To floating mystical dreams Love is the only thing that remains As our jouney nears its end We're greeted by the sea's beloved Colorful fish are our entourage To guide us to what we covet Entering into the deep blue abyss Approaching gates of Mother of Pearl Sea Otters are the guards To this wonderous underwater world Coming to rest on abalone shell So soothing to the feet I'm captured by the nectar of your love With a slowness our lips do meet Merfolk gather with arms open wide Assuring us no more need we roam The Sea, ah the Sea, life giver of man Shall forever in eternity be our home
