CHANGING SEASONS
August has at last given way to September The parching heat of summer To the cool winds of autumn A million growing things will soon sleep ‘Neath the icy hand of winter Only to awaken again in the spring Thank God for the changing seasons And a million reawakenings of the heart For of such is the essence of hope
