A Deeper Shade of Red by Ruby Red The color RED demands attention. It’s vibrant and strong, passionate and warm. For more years than I care to admit, greens and blues have resided in the place that RED now occupies. I’ve enjoyed the peaceful wisdom found in the ceruleans, sapphires, azures, emeralds and deep forest hues that wreathed my aura with nature’s calling. And now my rainbow ebbs into scarlet, crimson and ruby, beckoning me to their charismatic hues. Compassion’s passion Envelope me Make me see Make me know Red can be as pure as Winter’s whitest snow Red is the color of true love It's the color of sunset's sweetest refrain It’s the color of my beating heart It represents my Savior’s pain Red is the shade to embrace on days When forlorn hearts are lost in a haze To settle for less is unjustified reprieve Red is the color that wills me to breathe
