Closed Doors
Physical closure is far easier than the mental version....

Carefully, wrapped, packed and boxed away
Accumulation of thoughts, memories, desires
Turn out the light, gently close the door
Physically hidden, closure satisfied.

But in the quiet times the thoughts return
The tiniest reminder,
The greatest jolt.
Dragging the mind inside the room,
Unpacking the box,
Blowing off the dust
Watching the sparkle, wistfully remember.
