Rubiyat Poem
When I kiss your tears. “You will love me forever, when I kiss your tears,” she said to me, as she drew herself near. It was then that I knew, my life had just changed – that forever her love, would blanket my fears. “When I kiss your cheek, you will know that I care.” she said to me, as she caressed my hair. As I felt her breath, upon my face – I knew she had answered, all of my prayers. “You will always see me, when I kiss your eyes,” she said to me, as I felt my soul rise, to heights I had thought, were denied my life – far from this life, that always died. “When I kiss your lips, you will know that I yearn,” she said to me, as I felt my heart burn; a passion I thought, was lost to time – she had given her love, in endless return. “I will always be there, to kiss you everyday,” she said to me, and I felt so amazed! That she would share her love, with a man like me – not deserving at all or worthy of praise. And once I had thought, that all that I knew, was a life without love, and nothing held true. Yet, I found her love, as she said this to me, “When I kiss your tears - know that I love you.” Kactus Berry
