Writer's Cramp: An Acrostic using the letters: New York
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tribute to New York and Patriots Now I cannot think of September without remembering those bitter days, Elbowed in the gut by the cold cruelty of humans who think so little of life, Who changed a normal day into despair and disbelief . . . and death. Yes, it has been two years since that day when three thousand died, Only, that pain has not ebbed, nor has our innocence been restored. Respect, however, has grown. Our flag’s colors are once again our banner, Keeping the bravery of those we lost and their compassion forever before us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
