It’s all You’ve ever asked of me.
Why is it so hard to do?
A simple act of selfless love
To give my all to You.

Your life You gave at Calvary
When they nailed You to a tree.
A simple act of selfless love
You gave Your all for me.

You’ve said that if I give my heart
And lift my voice to You
This simple act of selfless love
Will draw all men to You.

I surrender; I’m laying it down
I surrender; I’m giving it up
I surrender; not my will but Yours
