Flying into the night
On the scream of a guitar A crimson wailing riff Threatens to pierce my heart I am borne upwards Heedless of clouds and moonlight Pulled mercilessly into the solo Of a masterfully played Fender Among the glittery stars I am soaring with abandon Every fiber of my being Belongs to this song Pathways of melody open before me And I am drawn in As tears fill my eyes The beauty of it all
