Release!
Oh, to be free from the censure of a downtrodden race.

                   Release!

The bondage is oppressive
That binds me to this place
Always harsh words
         Cast reckless at my face
Hemmed in by concrete
          That solidly does encase
I consider the allure
That pulls me from this space
And I rise aloft
          To seek abundant grace
Free from the censure
          Of a downtrodden race
