Choices We Make The choices we make and the roads that we take Are only a prelude to plans we can’t shake The laughter we share both with kin and with heir Leave indelible memories floating on air No lummox can spoil all the fruits of our toil Nor the seeds we are planting in rich fertile soil So cherish tomorrows and minimize sorrows And bank on the blessing that nobody borrows This poem was written for a challenge. You are given a number of words and challenged to write a poem containing those words. Sometimes you are given one or more phrases, in addition to the words. (required words and phrases in red) Wanna give it a try? Here's the location: http://www.writing.com/main/forums.php?item_id=213819 Candle Maker
