The Redlight District

The Redlight District

There are prudish eyes
Looking at indecent thighs
Strutting their wanton ways
Common in all their days
Forsaken and worthless trash
Like a pile of smoking ash
For their justification is nil
Like a well-thatched hill
A slippery slope to fall on
Merely a sine qua non
And it’s all in vain
Its destiny endless pain
Yet those prudish eyes
Little do they realize
Their justification too is small
For they labor to judge us all
