Johnny Cash
A poem about Johnny Cash, greatest singer ever.

This is for Johnny Cash and the fans who loved him. I thought he was the best country singer ever.

The world lost one of the best
singers that ever lived.
He was the man in black, he was a
legend.
As a singer and person, he had a lot
to give.
It will take awhile for our hearts to
mend.

I love his song, RING OF FIRE.
Grandma let me play it all the time.
Hearing the song over and over, I
would never tire.
This song had meaning and rhyme.

Johnny didn't always have an easy
life.
He fell in love with June Carter and
she turned his life around.
He over came his strife and made June
his wife.
A new chance at life he had found.

He sang ballads and songs of love from
the heart.
His music warms your heart and makes
you smile.
Johnny really did his part.
As a actor and especially a singer, he
went the extra mile.

You are the brightest star in the sky.
You won your claim to fame.
It's so hard to say Good-Bye!
We love you and noone will ever forget
you!
