BROOM SALES There's a store around the corner That has a special sale on brooms; Open after midnight in October And it has many, many rooms! There are brooms of all sizes, Some black handles, some with gray; And the customers come and cackle As they fly around and play. Broom sales have really risen! You would be amazed, it's true; For every customer dressed in black, When you buy one, you get two! When Halloween approaches, You can hear the hoots and wails; As the 'everyday housewife' Takes advantage of broom sales! For witches have their dreams Of flying high and far away; Of sailing past the moon at night, 'Till the magic wears out next day. So if Granny goes shopping Very late some October night, Just turn over, go to sleep; She will be quite alright! ** #553689 Not An Image ** Countrymom 9/28/03
