I rode upon my horse today
Into the setting sun, I thought about the life I've led And all the things I’ve done. I pondered some regrets I have As well as things I love, I thought about my life to come Then turned my gaze above. And realized it mattered not What had happened up till then, Regardless of the plans I had It’s really in Gods hands. The only thing I can control Is how I choose to see, The events that cross my path each day My reaction up to me. So I reached down and stroked my pony Stared in awe at the night sky, Deciding to let my life move on And just enjoy this great long ride.
