Rooted Things
'Tis the rooted things withstanding the tugging, wayward wind, while those that break away so free fly, yes, but powerless, fettered by wind's whimsy 'til cast carelessly away and trapped in mire and mud or trampled underfoot, at last in swampy prison held to dream of rooted days.
