E-MAIL BLUES

E-MAIL BLUES

Checking my email, as I always do,
Can cause me a bit of alarm,
For some remarks are brazen at best;
Certainly lacking in charm!

They may be just a bit clueless,
They can't see the feelings behind the pen;
They say sticks and stones can break many bones,
But the words cause my old head to spin!

Should I be brazen or witty?
I'm clueless as how to reply!
With a deep sigh I just delete the message;
My serenity will return by and by!
