I'm just a memory,
An example of what you possess. This betrayal from an angel blessed, Has left me abandoned, Has left me so cold. It was an honor, The simple act of holding you. The tempting want of loving you, A painful reminder, A distracting sigh of truth. And I hide myself, From this twilight bloom, In this soul and in this mind, But you can't see into my eyes. I will not believe, Now that you're not around. And these voices seem so sound, In all that they tell me, In all it is my fate. Now I can't forget, What you can not forgive. How am I supposed to live, With this painful reminder, This distracting sigh of truth. And I hide myself, From this twilight bloom, In this soul and in this mind, But I can't see into your eyes. I wish for you to know That I want to be braver than this, So I could tell you how sweet It would be to taste your kiss. To think that I could have you... Now I hide myself, From this twilight bloom, In this soul and in this mind, But I can't see into your eyes. I wish for you to know That I want to be braver than this, So I could tell you how sweet It would be to taste your kiss. To think that I could have you, How foolish I am. How foolish I am...
