ENGRAVED IN HEART—an acrostic
So what if the days are dark, How does it matter to me; Ever shall my love sustain, Retracting is blasphemy. Love happens truly but once, Only once is heart aflame. Cry in love, why should not I? Know not you what is this pain. How can I forget it was, Only yesterday, you said: ‘Love is but a part of life, Moments of longing are sad’. Engraved you are in my heart; Surely we can never part. • Written in abcb 7-7-7-7 format * An acrostic, built on the name SHERLOCK HOLMES. • Written as per the concept described in "HOW TO WRITE AN ACROSTIC-acrostic,edpick" M C Gupta ‘Khalish’ Created: 22 Ocober 2003
