Heart on his Sleeve

Trust those whose heart is not hidden...
Heart on his Sleeve

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he stands,
Growing,
Among withered flowers of envy, despising his honest attempts at glory.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he walks,
Growing,
Absorbing tears, and fears, like a sponge in a bucket of shoulders to cry on.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he runs,
Growing,
Racing down dreams, like a cat, in the woods, after mice, without warning.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he stops,
Growing,
As he breathes, with the depth, of a cavern, filled with dark echoed laughter.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he sits,
Growing,
Contemplating life, like a fox, in the night, in search of an eternal meal.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he sleeps,
Growing,
Curled up in a ball, full of wax, enveloping tales of trouble and dream.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he wakes,
Growing,
Facing the day, like a knight, charging blindly into a sun of unpredictability.

A Man,
Wears his heart on his sleeve,
As he stands,
Sharing,
His heart with the world without fear.
