MIDNIGHT'S DAWN
Held so tight by a warm, sweet soul Watching the rain outside the window My heart no longer feels as a null Candles burn as the feelings flow Brought to heaven by an angel’s word From the flames to cooling sheets Some would think it’s so absurd They cannot hear the heart’s beats Tears of joy must be spoken Kindness listens to my call Give the ferryman no token We’ll make it through it all This love will last longer This love will stay stronger -poet Darká
